Choose the evening you want, from a relaxed meal to live music or a late night out.
An evening in Los Cabos can mean dinner by the marina, live music or time on a dance floor. You don't need to follow a single version of a Cabo night out. Start with the atmosphere you want and build a plan that suits your group.
Downtown Cabo San Lucas and the marina area offer different settings from the historic center of San José del Cabo. A restaurant near your accommodation may be the easiest option for a relaxed evening. If you're heading farther away, arrange transport before making reservations.
For a particular style of music or performance, check the venue's current program. A familiar name in an old directory does not establish that the venue, show or opening hours remain the same.
Ask about reservations, entry prices, age restrictions, dress requirements and payment methods. For a group, confirm whether everyone can sit together and whether there are minimum spends or cancellation terms.
Keep a clear plan for the return journey. Save your accommodation address and use a transport arrangement you understand. If you drink alcohol, do not drive.
One good meal and one place you want to spend time can be enough. Moving repeatedly between venues can turn the evening into a series of journeys.
Consider your next morning too. A late return and an early boat departure may be a less comfortable combination than leaving the evening open. Choose a pace that lets you enjoy both the night and the rest of your visit.
